The development of youth-based religious communities indicates a growing interest among young Muslims in engaging with the Qur’an through recitation, reading improvement, memorization, Qur’anic interpretation, reflection, and digital content production. Nevertheless, Qur’anic literacy practices within youth communities remain fragmented because they frequently emphasize reading fluency, memorization targets, or motivational messages without integrating interpretive competence, religious information verification, reflective engagement, and social actualization. This study aims to construct an integrative and transformative Qur’anic literacy model that corresponds to the characteristics of youth communities in the digital age. It employs a qualitative approach through an integrative literature review. Data were collected from academic literature concerning Qur’anic literacy, Qur’anic interpretation, digital literacy, youth education, learning communities, and digital religiosity. The data were examined through conceptual identification, thematic categorization, comparative analysis, and conceptual synthesis. The study formulates the QURANI Model, consisting of six interconnected dimensions: Qirā’ah and Recitation, Understanding and Interpretation, Reflective Tadabbur, Actualization of Values, Navigation of Digital Information, and Interaction and Collaborative Production. These dimensions are implemented through participatory learning, mentoring, social projects, digital content production, and continuous assessment. The model extends Qur’anic literacy beyond technical reading proficiency toward the capacities to understand, verify, reflect upon, actualize, and responsibly communicate Qur’anic teachings. The QURANI Model offers a conceptual framework for designing youth community programs that connect textual competence, interpretive awareness, digital responsibility, spiritual formation, and social transformation. However, its effectiveness needs to be empirically examined across youth communities with diverse social, cultural, and organizational characteristics.
